Metaverse Media CEO Filthy Rich After Multi-Million Dollar Selloff.
April 1st, 2007 (NEW YORK, USA)
News Corporation takes another step into the online game of “Second Life” today after it’s $30,000,000 purchase of Metaverse Media, a media company based in the online world. “We are very happy about this.” A happy Rupert Murdoch, News Corporation owner, said in a press conference Sunday.

Simon Lameth, who was the owner of Metaverse Media before the purchase, was seen running from the press conference to the Ferarri dealership down the street from the News Corporation offices.

Newscorp representatives said that The Second Life Times will be moved to a new island in game, and the Times current offices will become a Newsroom and Studios for the new FOX News Second Life bureau.

You missed Newscorpsa international side, Sky, BskyB, Skynews, Star TV. Also socres of newspapers and websites all over the world.
Having wworked for Newscorp freelance for TV and it’s newschannel outlets, here’s what I’ve found - They pay well - very well - on time and take good cre of the people who work for them even the freelance rent-a-journo’s like myself.
Also - don’t think that the various outlets catering to various niche markets are alike.
Each ‘brand’ is independant from the next.
