Comments and Foul Play — No Surrender for the CN.
Posted by Areth Gall on April 27, 2007
This is an announcement and report regarding the Herald Article: Marathon Battle at The Woofer
It would appear that some people are incapable of refraining from foul play. While we do not know whom the individuals are whom caused this, it is evident that there are four different accounts claiming to be Inuyasha Deere in the Herald Comment Sections. While The true email address of Inuyasha Deere is: SanteeCooperKat@comcast.net
The four false emails are;
cocks@iliketosuckthem.com
And the question is, how did this happen, and how easy is it to happen? It’s actually rather simple. In order to create a post on the herald, all you have to do is go to the comment section, type in a false name, a false email, and a post. I just posted as Blinkie from the false email of blimieicecream@Meow.com (Don’t try to email me on it, it isn’t mine, and to my knowledge, it’s not an actual email.) There is no review before the comment is posted or otherwise — although there should be the opportunity to remove the comment after it is posted.
So, the other questions that exist are;
1. Who could have done this,
2. Why?
3. Why hasn’t the Herald removed these false comments?
In the humble conclusion of this reporter, the Merczateers may have been behind these articles, as is produced by IshdadyeRulez and CNSucksMerczRule@homail.com. However, this is not the likely case scenario, and if anything, someone else would have wanted someone to believe that the Merczateers were behind these posts to cause disturbances — which did occur at the MOSCOW meeting as a result of these imposter posts, and which is how this issue was brought up.
What can be said of this is that;
1. The CN never issued a surrender to any of the SL Militaries that the false Inuyasha Deere has stated in the comment section of the Herald. Bruno Ziskey of the Spartans will back that Sparta has never recieved a claim.
2. All Commenters are strongly encouraged to consider getting a Permanent Login so that their identities cannot be duplicated on boards.
3. While it is possible to see to this point which messages were posted by highlighting the blue text of the poster’s name, this will not be usable in the future due to people now knowing that they can exploit the email by not having it checked and being able to post without owning the actual email.
4. All posts made by SanteeCooperKat@comcast.net up until the end of April 26th, are actually made by Inuyasha Deere. Of course, there were other persons claiming to be Inuyasha before that date, so each post must be individually identified. However, all posts after the post made by the first Blinkie post on April 27th, or after posts made after the April 26th date hold the potential to be counterfeit, even if signed by SanteeCooperKat@comcast.net.
